Recalling a reliable tipster Digital Chat Station just posted in Weibo, Xiaomi was revealing some great advancements under its pipeline for mid-range 2024 flagship model. The devices dubbed as Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are not yet named. However, the leak seemingly refers to the standard version of Xiaomi 15, a premium version called Xiaomi 15 Pro and a high-end Xiaomi 15 Ultra model.
As per the leak, the Xiaomi 15 iteration line-up is up for relaunch with its next phase being an internal testing later this month to examine two upgrades, which are possibly going to be an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a periscope camera.
The adoption of the ultrasound biometric sensor rather than an in-display optical sensor as on Xiaomi’s competitor product will ensure an upgrade. Among ultrasonic fingerprint readers, it is common to feel satisfactory and responsive, especially if your fingers have the habits of being dirtied or soaked.
The talk about the camera ensues the blogger saying, Xiaomi is considering using Eyesafe by OV64B of the OmniVision Company which is another trusted option from this company. This leak points that OV64B will be used to place this as new telephoto lens on the Xiaomi 15 Pro rather than the main camera for the Pro models.
On the top of the cameras and fingerprint sensor enhancement, the leak also gives a mistrial about the latest ‘high-density’ battery technique. What is more, the size of the battery has not yet been said.
And the phone manufactures are projected to be using the latest and the fastest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip for their models. Talking about availability, Digital Chat Station refreshes the information that “if all goes as expected, the Xiaomi 15 lineup will enter mass production by the end of September (September) and will be launched on the market in the following month in October, which coincides perfectly with the launch of Qualcomm’s new chip (or Snapdragon technology).
