A major update for the comfort of Apple users
It is undeniable that the improvements brought by software updates are always eagerly awaited by users. Today we are talking about the upcoming iOS 18.1 update which according to a report by MacRumors should make it much easier to change the primary email address associated with an Apple account.
Simplified email switching
Currently, the process of changing email linked to Apple account is quite laborious. It requires removing the primary email address and then adding a new one before going through the verification process again. This method, although tedious, is the only current solution to avoid the appearance of your “old” email address when sending documents.
However, with iOS 18.1, it will be possible to add a new primary email address without having to change the one used to create the account. This means that while you continue to use the original account to log in, there will be no chance that this email will appear on shared documents or calendar invitations. This saves a lot of time and puts an end to the awkward situations of using a “funny” email address created in your youth.

Besides this, a simplifying is expected in the iOS update 18.1 which should include the Apple Intelligence, which are still in the first beta. These new features include Writing Assistants, Photo Editing, Notification Centre, and Enhance version of Siri.
