Android 15 could bring satellite-based emergency messaging, which is deduced from the strings found in a beta version of Google Messages.
Google may be working on the final stages of a beta for its Google Messages app where satellite support will be integrated, in direct reply to what Apple has been providing for the previous couple of months.
It seems that Android 15 could develop a satellite-based emergency messaging system.

”To send and receive click on it and stand outside with clear view of the sky”
They are slow with the satellite messaging taking longer than that of email and cannot support photos or videos.
The contacts include anyone starting from the emergency services themselves.
The Cupertino company’s take on emergency messaging via satellite is called “Emergency SOS by satellite”, and it enables sending a message to the emergency services or an accountant service, if there is no cellular or Wi-Fi coverage or you cannot make a call. From this viewpoint, it can be concluded that Google’s implementation resembles the one with Apple.
Which strings in the Google Messages’ beta version imply
Another potential that would make the satellite messaging service that Google infamously allegedly planned to build stand out, if the strings extracted from the code are genuine is that users wouldn’t be limited to dialing emergency contacts on their phone. On such an occasion, theoretically, you would type a message through the satellite to the emergency services to alert them of the situation and simultaneously to your friends and relatives to make them informed.
For a deeper investigation of this feature, we should expect more data in a few months for Android 15 that is set to be released in September, roughly at the same time with Google Pixel 9 which is already rumored heavily all over the Internet.
